Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) Highlights Achievements in Energy Production Across the Region



Mr. Sediko Douka, the ECOWAS Commissioner for Infrastructure, Vitality&Digitalization, showcased varied initiatives throughout the ECOWAS weekly engagement with regional media, highlighting ECOWAS’s dedication to addressing vitality challenges within the sub-region. In response, ECOWAS established specialised companies such because the West African Energy Pool (WAPP), Regional Electrical energy Regulatory Authority (ERERA), Centre for Renewable Vitality and Vitality Effectivity (ECREEE), and West African Fuel Pipeline Authority (WAGPA).
